DAY ONE OF DISCOVERY FARM VIP EXPERIENCE WRAPS UP

The 2021 Discovery Farm VIP Experience is gearing up for day two after a successful first day of networking, education sessions and equipment demonstrations.

“It has been a privilege for us to host this in-person event to help connect farmers with industry leaders so they are equipped with the information that is best suited for their farms,” said Carla Vipond, Vice-President of Marketing at Glacier FarmMedia. “Farmers who attended today received the full VIP treatment while engaging in unique learning opportunities. We very much look forward to what day two will bring”

The Discovery Farm VIP Experience was designed to connect Canadian farmers with practical ag solutions amid a pandemic year through safely-guided, small-scale tours. Farmers receive the opportunity to connect with industry leaders and colleagues and take away new levels of expertise that best benefit their farming practice.

A special guest appearance was made on day one by Saskatchewan’s Outstanding Young Farmers of 2018 Jordan and Jennifer Lindgren who shared their expertise on new genetics and fertilizer rates. Day two special guest will feature Mady Adamson, the third grader of Rosetown, Sask. who is known for viral Twitter videos focused on equipment, crop rotation, seed treating, farm safety and more. YouTube personality Quick Dick McDick will also be making an appearance on day two.
