It was an honour having Eric Morin from Canadian Agri-Food Automation and Intelligence Network (CAAIN) join us at the Discovery Farm Langham site on October 8. During this one-on-one tour with Eric, we took a first-hand look at the METOS Canada sensors and devices that have been installed in the Field of Excellence as part of the Pan-Canadian Smart Farm Network. This hardware is useful in providing data such as field monitoring, weather monitoring and forecasting, water management, insect monitoring and nutrition management. Big thank you to CAAIN for supporting this project that will bring informed decision making on the farm as we work towards finding ag solutions for Canadian farmers.
